Chess is more than a game; it’s a journey of strategy, patience, and growth. At our online chess academy, we strive to nurture the young minds of tomorrow by teaching them the art of chess. However, we believe that this journey should go hand-in-hand with a responsibility toward the planet we live on. To this end, we’ve introduced a unique green initiative: for every child who enrolls in our academy, we plant a tree. This small but meaningful step embodies our dual mission of intellectual growth while giving back to nature.

The world is grappling with the realities of climate change, deforestation, and environmental degradation. As an online academy we realise the harm we might cause to the environment. By planting a tree for every enrollment, we aim to reinforce the importance of sustainability while actively contributing to a greener planet.

New Delhi, a city rich in culture and history, has faced increasing challenges in maintaining its green cover. Rapid urbanization has led to significant deforestation, poor air quality, and a shrinking natural habitat for biodiversity. By choosing New Delhi as the focal point of our initiative, we aim to directly address these challenges. Every tree planted helps combat air pollution, provides shade and cooling in the city’s extreme temperatures, and restores the ecological balance in a highly urbanized environment.

The enrollment-tree connection is more than a symbolic act; it’s a measurable contribution to sustainability. With every new student, our academy is not just creating the next generation of chess enthusiasts but also actively improving the environment. Over time, the cumulative impact of this initiative could result in hundreds, or even thousands, of new trees, each playing a small but crucial role in combating climate change.

We are committed to ensuring the long-term success of this initiative. Each tree planted will be monitored to ensure its survival and growth, partnering with local organizations in New Delhi for effective implementation. Beyond this, we plan to involve our students by sharing updates on the trees planted on their admission. This way, everyone can see the tangible impact of their enrollment.
